About Tai Cartrefi

Tai Cartrefi is a Registered Social Housing Landlord (RSL) and a member of Grŵp Gwalia Cyf. It is dedicated to the same core values as the other Grŵp Gwalia Cyf companies and has management responsibility for one of the largest portfolios of student accommodation in Wales.

Tai Cartrefi is currently focusing on the management of existing student accommodation, as well as the development of new accommodation through partnerships with leading Universities.

About the company

At the beginning of 2007 Tai Cartrefi evolved within the company to become the main body dealing exclusively with the development and maintenance of the organisation's portfolio of student accommodation.

In the past, Tai Cartrefi has developed housing valued at over £84.6 million, with a total property development in excess of £190 million, with it's achievements including a recognition by the Royal Society of Architects in Wales in the form of a 'Welsh Housing Design Award' for its outstanding track record in sustainable and innovative design in the field of affordable housing.
